Loretta Kasper's Pastels Homework: Week 5

Here is my pastel of the trees:

Here is my pastel of a part of a building at Mohonk Mountain House in New York. I like it because it reminds me of a castle turret. I noticed that the computer monitor took out the shading that I put in across the building. The shading comes from the middle of the right side diagonally across to the lower left side.:
