WEEK 5 PROJECT ASSIGNMENT
Part 1:
- In this banner I used a textured background, which I painted with a brush tip set to 100. I used a round tip with both opacity and density set to 100. I then created a new layer on which I wrote text. I then flood filled the image and used copy merged.
- This is a banner that I created using the Hot Wax Coating applied 5 times. I then colorized the text using a hue of 34 and a atuation of 170. I also used a drop shadow on this banner.
Part 2:
- This is a photograph of me and my husband Howard on New Year's Eve 1999. The photograph has a gamma correction with blue, green, and red linked at a value of 0.80 each. The brightness is set to 12 and the contrast to -3. I also applied "equalize relative brightness" from the Histogram functions menu.
- This is a photograph of my dog, Barney. I applied gamma correction with the colors unlinked. The value for Red is 1.20, for Green is 1.00, and for Blue is 0.80. The brightness is set to -2 and the contrast to 3. I also applied "equalize relative brightness" from the Histogram functions menu.
- This is a photograph of me and my husband getting ready to go to my cousin's wedding. I applied gamma correction with colors unlinked. The value for Red is 1.00, for Green is 1.20, and for Blue is 0.80. I set the brightness to 2 and the contrast to 10. I applied "equalize relative brightness" from the Histogram functions menu.
- This is the same photograph as the above image. All values are the same, except that instead of applying "equalize relative brightness," I applied "stretch."
